UDC is pleased to announce the appointment of James Bateman as Director of International Business Development.
James brings more than 20 years of experience delivering consulting, digital transformation and data improvement solutions to organisations across the energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors throughout EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa). During his career, he has held senior sales and business development roles with leading organisations including Cyclomedia, Hitachi Vantara, Cyient Europe, 1Spatial and Esri UK.
Most recently, James served as UK & EU Utilities Director at Cyclomedia, where he played a key role in establishing the company’s utilities business across Europe and developing a strong network of strategic partners.
In his role as Director of International Business Development, James will focus on identifying new market opportunities, assessing growth potential and developing long-term strategies to support UDC’s continued international expansion. His appointment reflects UDC’s commitment to strengthening its presence in global markets and delivering greater value to utility and infrastructure organisations worldwide.
